During these uncertain times, as a small independent business, we are following current events with great concern.
My primary goal right now is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of my staff and customers, whilst still trying to keep my business open and in good shape for when we are on top of the virus to ensure we come out this other side still standing.
Unlike many of you, it is not viable for us to work from home, and we plan to maintain production for as long as possible throughout this pandemic.
To protect our team, our workshop will be closed to the public, but our online store will be open as usual and we are still accepting commissions [via email!]
Right now, our staff are all fit and healthy, and have been sent home until the virus is under control. I [as the business owner] am still at work in isolation and producing furniture on my own. [like the old days when i first started] I am taking extra precautions to keep my hands clean, and our workshop environment sanitised as best I can.
Currently, Royal Mail and Parcelforce handle our shipping, and they are continuing to do so, however, there may be some delays in delivery.
We are all in this together, and we will strive to keep making furniture and lovely wooden things, and provide the best service we possibly can.
Please continue to support us, and other small businesses, to help us all weather the storm during this challenging time. [however long that may be]
